Birmingham, Alabama, Amtrak collision: A motorist was killed after an Amtrak practice collided with a car at crossing, officers say Gadgetfee

The accident occurred round 6:22 p.m. CT (7:22 p.m. ET) at a practice crossing that had crossing arms, audio and visible indicators, Birmingham Hearth and Rescue Battalion Chief Sebastian Carrillo instructed CNN.

There have been no reported accidents to employees or passengers on the Amtrak practice.

Corey Antonia Jones, 43, was the driving force and lone occupant of the Ford Fiesta struck by the Amtrak practice, the Jefferson County Coroner mentioned.

On Sunday, three folks had been killed when a practice collided with a car in California whereas 4 folks had been killed and roughly 150 folks had been injured when an Amtrak collided with a dump truck close to Mendon, Missouri, on Monday.
