FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — A person was fatally shot by Fresno police in a park late Saturday, after officers say he approached them whereas holding a gun.
Fresno Police Chief Paco Balderamma stated 4 officers responded to a name at round 8:35 p.m. of a person waving a gun close to the loos at Vinland Park.
Balderamma instructed The Fresno Bee that police arrived about 10 minutes later and situated a person in his 30s, who was strolling away. The repeatedly ordered him to drop the weapon, Balderamma stated, with out specifying the kind of firearm.
