THOMASTON, Ga, (AP) — A Georgia college bus driver died when a college bus and utility truck collided Friday morning south of Atlanta.
Two college students suffered minor accidents.
The Georgia State Patrol recognized the driving force as 69-year-old Sebastian Ciarcia of Yatesville. State troopers say Ciarcia crossed into the other lane of a two-lane highway, hit the utility truck, after which misplaced management of the bus because it ran off the highway and crashed into bushes.
The bus driver was working for the Thomaston-Upson County college district. Officers inform information shops that three college students have been on the bus on the time of the wreck. Two have been taken to a hospital in Thomaston.
The third scholar on the bus and the truck driver weren’t injured.
