MIAMI (AP) — A airplane carrying 126 folks caught hearth after touchdown Tuesday at Miami Worldwide Airport when touchdown gear collapsed, although no critical accidents had been reported, authorities mentioned.
The fireplace was attributable to the collapse of touchdown gear on a Pink Air flight arriving from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Miami-Dade Aviation Division spokesman Greg Chin mentioned in an electronic mail to The Related Press.
The airplane was carrying 126 folks, and three of them had been taken to a hospital for therapy of minor accidents, he added. Different passengers had been being bussed from the airplane to the terminal.
Miami-Dade Hearth Rescue posted on Twitter that fireside crews had positioned the fireplace below management and had been mitigating gasoline spillage.
TV information photos confirmed the airplane appeared to have come to relaxation in grass beside a runway and that the plane and an space throughout it had been apparently doused with white firefighters’ chemical compounds. No less than three firefighting autos had been positioned close by.
