Protests Break Out in India Over New Army Recruitment System | World Information | gadgetfee

LUCKNOW, India (Reuters) – Crowds in India set a practice coach on hearth and blocked railway tracks and roads in protests on Thursday towards a brand new navy recruitment system, police mentioned.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s authorities this week introduced an overhaul of recruitment for India’s 1.38 million-strong armed forces, seeking to convey down the common age of personnel and scale back pension expenditure.

Bihar and neighbouring Uttar Pradesh noticed protests over the recruitment course of for railway jobs in January this 12 months, underlining India’s persistent unemployment downside.
