DOVER, Del. (AP) — A Delaware man was arrested Monday and charged with arson and different offenses in a Goal retailer fireplace that police stated he began “as a diversion to steal a cart filled with merchandise.”

The 26-year-old man began the hearth within the linen part of the shop in Dover on July 10 and the shop was shortly evacuated, Dover police stated in a information launch.
