NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Oprah Winfrey’s father, Vernon Winfrey, has died on the age of 89.
Oprah confirmed in an Instagram put up that her father died in Nashville, Tennessee, on Friday.
“Yesterday with household surrounding his bedside I had the sacred honor of witnessing the person accountable for my life, take his final breath,” the media mogul wrote. “We may really feel peace enter the room at his passing.”
