There was a delayed start in Melbourne for Day 2's play after a couple of positive COVID-19 tests in the England camp.

All sessions were pushed back by 30 minutes. due to covid positive cases.

Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc chipped in with handy late runs to take Australia to 267 before they were bowled out with a lead of 82. well they can bat too.
