CNET updated its iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max case deals roundup on October 31, 2026, listing early Black Friday promotions from accessory brands including Pela, Casely, Mous and ESR. The offers include discounts and bundles, but the page says Apple’s $49 Clear Case has no current deal, and prices and promotions may change.
The roundup presents cases as a way to add protection to phones that CNET says start at $1,199. Its featured options span slim clear cases, patterned designs, rugged models and products made with materials such as vegan leather, wood, and aramid fiber. The article describes those features, but does not provide independent test results for every product listed.
Promotions in the supplied listing include Pela’s buy-one-get-one-free offer, with a free Mini Wallet on orders over $125, and 15% off Casely with code FALL15. Select Mous cases are listed at 10% off. ESR advertises savings of up to 26% on a protection bundle containing a case, screen protectors and lens protectors; the listed starting price for ESR products is $17.
Apple’s Clear Case is listed at $49, with built-in MagSafe magnets, but no promotion beyond a possible 3% saving for Apple Card users. The source also names Casekoo, Burga, Dropguys, Woodcessories, Benks, Otofly, Astra, Torras, Smartish and OtterBox among the brands in the roundup. The supplied material does not include full pricing or offer terms for each of those listings.

Keep the phone visible
Clear cases prioritize a minimal look. Check the listing for the exact Pro or Pro Max fit and MagSafe support.
Patterned or distinctive
Options include patterned designs and materials such as vegan leather, wood and aramid fiber.
Case plus screen care
Bundles can add screen and lens protectors alongside a case, extending coverage beyond the phone’s back and sides.

What the roundup tells you
Which models are covered?
The roundup focuses on iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max cases. Confirm the exact model and size for each product.
Is Apple’s Clear Case discounted?
It is listed at $49 with no current deal; the excerpt notes a possible 3% saving for Apple Card users.
Are all protection claims independently tested?
The supplied material does not include complete methods or results for every item. Treat descriptions as claims in the roundup.
When do the offers end?

Compare Protection Before Buying
Buyers considering a costly new phone can use the roundup to compare case styles and sale formats before choosing an accessory. A discounted case may lower the initial cost, while a bundle can cover more than the phone’s back and sides. But a promotion alone does not establish how well a product protects a device.
The listed choices also reflect different priorities: MagSafe compatibility, a slim profile, materials, appearance or added screen and lens coverage. Readers should check that a specific case fits their exact iPhone model and review the seller’s current price, shipping rules and return terms before ordering.

A Pre-Black Friday Shopping Update
CNET’s shopping article says it was updated October 31, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. EDT and describes the deals as available ahead of Black Friday. It says the roundup will be updated as more offers appear, so the page is a changing shopping guide rather than a fixed list of prices.
The source identifies its author as a freelance writer on CNET’s commerce team and links to CNET’s review ethics and testing information. In the material provided here, however, product descriptions and sale claims are not accompanied by a complete methodology or item-by-item test findings. They should be treated as descriptions and offers reported by the roundup, not as evidence that every case has been independently tested to the same standard.

Prices and Testing Details May Change
The supplied source does not state how long the promotions will last, whether all listed products are in stock, or whether the offers apply to every color and model. It also does not provide a complete set of prices, discount calculations, retailer links or exclusions for the brands named near the end of the excerpt. Buyers should verify the terms directly with the seller.
Claims about drop protection, scratch resistance, materials and compatibility are presented in product summaries, but the supplied text does not give test protocols or results for each item. It is also not clear from the excerpt whether every case has been independently reviewed by CNET or whether the roundup’s “CNET-approved” framing refers to editorial selection rather than a specific certification.
Watch for Updated Offers
CNET says it plans to add deals as they appear ahead of Black Friday. Shoppers can check the roundup again for changes, then confirm the current price, discount code, model fit and return policy on the seller’s page before purchasing. The source does not give a date for a further update or a final deadline for the offers.
